What Ad company should I use for me leaderboards?

I just edited out my Google leaderboards because with them in my towers werent getting any coverage. Now with them gone I get plenty on the sides. (Enough that I can't belive there isn't something to cover both ad spots, but oh well)

Anyway, what should I throw on my leaderboards? Amazon, some affiliate program, something else? It'd be great to find another program that serves related ads that won't piss off Google. Can you make Amazon display random books in a selected genre?

Try Fastclick, on my sites Amazon only does well it you target the ad to the page, random books not so well.

go with fastclick, casalemedia and azoogle.. combine the 3 and they do pretty well.

Fastclick declined me. They didn't give any specific reason. Should I just wait until I have some more content and a whole bunch more traffic, or are there specific requirements they have? (My site is only 1.5 mos old)

when i got fastclick on my site mine was 1month old. Now its about 3months old. I think the key is the site, how it looks, the traffic, etc. When fastclick took me I think i was doing about 200,000 hits a month. Now I am doing about 3.4-8million hits a month. So I think its more WHAT the site is about that they care about.

Also you could try azoogleads. They dont pay as much but they fill 100% of your inventory. I use them as a default.

soon as i get my server B.S. sorted I intend to write a few articles. Just remember hits are not anywhere near as good as uniques
