    Large table and downloading

    Hi

I have one table and I keep adding more data to the end of it everyday (20000 rows now). It becomes large so I zipped it before I download from hosting to my computer at home which is slow - takes several hours to download. It's still a 100MB zip file. Should I stop adding to this table, and create another new table for adding data to it?

    Thanks,

    John

No, thats not good database design.

I have a 200mb table that I've thought about doing that with before, its not a good idea though.

Thanks. Problem is it will take longer and longer time to down load a large and become-more-larger table. I use ws-ftp to download. What is the fastest way to download large table?

    Thanks.
