    Great article

Seemed to focus on nearly everything, and I now understand the flow of PageRank a lot better.

    A question though ...

Say if I want to have a high PR homepage. Should I link to that from every page, and have as little many links on those pages?

At the moment I link to every page from every page - so it's easy to navigate through the categories. Would you change this?

Thanks for a great article again!

to focus more PR on your homepage put a link to it on every page and remove some of the meshing you have currently.

Nicely written. I like it. It's hard to be objective though, because I already understood most of it from your posts It was nice to have the diagrams to illustrate the flow as well.

The diagrams were extremely helpful in snapping together some concepts that have been percolating since I've been absorbing info on this site for the past few months, thanks.

how about replacing the categories on those pages with a few links to all templates, template search etc? is there any point cutting about 15 links for this?

thanks for your reply, and again, great article

The more meshing you cut the more PR will be focused on your homepage. Every little bit will help.

But seeing as other pages wouldn't be linking to each other, their PR may drop below 4. This would mean that they wouldn't be counted as backward links for the homepage wouldn't it?

    Thanks,
    Mike

They'll always be counted. They just wont always be listed.

Instead of getting rid of most of my links from my form drop down menu (which I will be using soon), I have decided to leave them there but not include <noscript> tags.

This way users will be able to get to all the important pages from every page, and search engines won't follow links apart from those on the homepage. This is right isn't it?

    Thanks a lot,
    Mike

Good article Chris (as always). Cleared a lot of things up for me on how to best link internally.

I'm working on a whole new linking structure for my site, so this article will surely come in handy.
