    Topic-related advertising gone wrong

On MSNBC, if you go to the headline regarding Christopher Reeve's death, and hit reload many times...

You'll see advertising selling superman toys, batman toys, even christopher reeve movies.

It's pretty wrong/weird if you think about it, and of course unintentinoal by MSNBC.

It's weird but I bet the ads get clicked and products get sold.

True. But I am sure it is contextual and they have nothing to do with it. No person/company should profit on anyones death.

Oh of course it's contextual, I've just never ran into something like this before.

It just seems in poor taste because he just pasted away. Next year if you see a Christopher Reeves article with Superman ads you won't think twice about them. Right now everybody is bummed out about his death
