Accelerated Mobile Pages is an open-source coding standard for publishers. The aim for AMP is for publishers to be able to load their sites quickly on mobile since mobile responsive could be clunky and slow because desktop resources are heavy and plenty.

The Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project is an open source initiative that embodies the vision that publishers can create mobile optimized content once and have it load instantly everywhere.Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) is out and has been speculated to have two benefits for SEO. One is it will have a “Fast” label designation on search engine results pages, and the other is that it will be a ranking factor.

AMP is a Google-backed project with the aim of speeding up the delivery of content through the use of stripped down code known as AMP HTML. Put simply, AMP is a way to build web pages for static content (pages that don’t change based on user behavior), that allows the pages to load (and pre-render in Google search) much faster than regular HTML.

AMP remains for Accelerated Mobile Pages, a Google-sponsored venture planned as an open standard for any distributer to have pages stack rapidly on cell phones. On Feb. 24, 2016, Google authoritatively incorporated AMP postings into its versatile indexed lists.

AMP is otherwise known as a diet html.. It used to open equivalent of facebook articles instantly..
These are the factors that makes the AMP faster..
    limited tags
    streamlined css
    standardized js+
But this amp has its impact mainly on mobile only..
If you found my suggestion as useful just reply
