Google Results

I was looking through Google to try and find where my skateboarding site ranks for the term "skateboarding" (I think it's actually not in there for some reason despite the fact that I'm in the top 10 for several other skateboarding related searches.Anyway, I go to about results 670-680 out of 3,700,000 and was told that "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 761 already displayed." So I clicked the link to get see the duplicate pages, or whatever. This time I browsed right through but found that after 100 pages of results, or 1000 results, I couldn't go any further. If I really wanted to, how could I check out the other 3,699,000 results?

Also, any ideas why http://www.hdskate.com wouldn't rank in the top 1000 sites? My site has been indexed by google, and I have many listings in it, but not for that term.

So any ideas as to why I wouldn't be listed for "skateboarding"? The site is a few years old, has a PR4, which is not great, but is ok, has some backlinks, and has a few hundred pages indexed.

Could possible improve the keyword density in the title, other than that though I think just building links with 'skateboarding' in the anchor text, maybe add it a coupla times in bold?

Bold helps? Does it matter whether it's or ?

It's #46 for that search. What does all in anchor mean though?

What about keyword density for that page? If you have to too high of a density, it may be a filter. Otherwise, you should be there in the results.

Is there an all in command to check density? I just tried allintext, allintitle, and allinanchor. I'm around 30-40 for all of them.

Thanks. I'm learning a lot right now. Do you have any idea what a good density would be? I have 38 occurances of "skateboarding" from 742 occurances of words longer than 3 letters.

I've been digging around some other forums and found this:

" have no hard evidence for this... just reasoning...
If you have two sites out there which are very similar in content, they might last a while in the SERPs if they have no connection to one another... but if they are linked... then google will see the similarity right away. And google will decide to show just one of them."

My old skateboarding site, http://www.alteredskate.com , is linking to the new one on every page. Now I have a situation do deal with here to try and fix things. Alteredskate has been left online because I have CPM ads running on it. Visitors get to the site, I get the impressions, and then a large percentage continue on to Heyday. I'm not sure how I should go about fixing this problem without losing Alteredskate in the SERPs, and without losing the opportunity to send the traffic from Alteredskate to Heyday.

Would getting seperate Class C IP addresses for the two sites help me out here? Any suggestions?

I have carb-counter.org and carbohydrate-counter.org and they are both pretty similar. carb counter.org is actually more advanced though and gives greater detail. The results on carbohydrate-counter.org are better for a quick reference. They are interlinked on almost all the pages and the content is reasonably similar, though still different.

I have them on different class C IP addresses which may have something to do their survival.
