    I dont see it there either, I seem to remember seeing something like that a long time ago though - it may have been the bottom bit of the Google SERPS though

    I just checked it again and no - it's not there anymore.

    I guess someone at google simply pushed his finger too long on the 'o' key and they have corrected it by now

    i think it attracts more attention to the ad and thus achieves higher ctr.

    kinda reminds me of yahoo's scheme of getting more attention: putting a ! in their name (yahoo! is their name; i am not shouting or emphasizing it)
