    Looking for ASP forum

I'm looking for a great ASP forum engine that works with an Access database. It has to be search engine friendly. It doesn't have to be a free forum package.

    Thanks for your recommendations.

I don't know if it's SE friendly, but that kind of thing can always be hacked in I'm sure:

I just have to point out that Access is so very poor for websites.

Have had to use Access before too, and wouldnt recommend it - unless its impossible to avoid, go for a proper database designed for web use.

Stay away from Access, especially for a forum.
I haven't heard of good search engine friendly URLs solution for Windows.

Ok, i'll stay away from access. What I meant by search engine friendly was just that it can be crawled by Google. Websitepublisher.net forums are not exactly search engine friendly, but they are to google.

So can anyone recommend some forum software other than Snitz?

    Thanks for all your advice.

Maybe try out Web Wiz forums - http://www.webwizguide.info
A friend of mine runs a couple auto forum sites on it and likes it quite a bit.

Well, since someone dredged up this old thread I'll offer my opinion (did you get a forum already?).

I spent a lot of time looking for classic ASP-based solutions and decided to go with ASP Playground http://www.aspplayground.net. It's got a lot of nice features, it's highly optimized for performance, and support is excellent. Design-wise, it's not the most refined out there, but it's functional and can be fully customized. It runs on SQL Server, not Access (I cannot agree enough with the advice to stay away from Access), and it's not free. It does create search engine friendly links if you turn that feature on.
