    PR effect

I'm a partner with eXtremepixels.com which was formerly vbskinz.com (not related to the former corrupt vbskinS.com). With this latest PR update eXtremepixels now has a PR of 6, and about 2100 backlinks.

The domain vbskinz.com is still active, with just a front page showing a notice about the name change, and for alot of searches it still comes up #1, vbulletin skins for example. It has a PR of 7 and Google's showing about 6700 backlinks.

If we redirected vbskinz to the new domain, that should easily pass the link popularity to eXtremepixels, and boost it to PR7 at least shouldn't it?

Yes and no. It will transfer the PR if the redirect is done correctly, but Google will may list the site in SERPs using the old domain and you might not get the full PR7. Still its the best thing to do.
