    impressive group - amazon feeds

I just found this forum today and I must say I very impressed by the quality and honesty of the comments and replies.

Several of the member sites I looked at were much higher quality than I would have assumed for Amazon affiliate sites.

I'm just getting back into the whole affiliate world because of the increased availabilty of datafeeds and thus the ability to easily create content.

I'll have many questions in the days to come and look forward to some great advice from the pros that seem to frequent this site.

I had not really considered Amazon as a partner until reading many of the threads here. I write my own scripts in ColdFusion to create my sites from datafeeds but it seems many here are using the Amazon XML feed (I've never worked with an XML feed).

I also notice references to existing scripts, should I assume that they are all PHP and MySQL?

Anyway hope to speak with several of you soon.

    David

I haven't seen a CFM Amazon script, but I haven't looked for one either. Drop by Amazon's AWS developers section and look around, there might be one.

If you already have some background with ColdFusion then creating your own script shouldn't be a problem. The XML feeds are pretty straight forward.

Thanks, I did try to look at this but none of the demos are working.

I have emailed the programmer to find out what's up.

I've looked at several scripts and many look good but I will probably give ColdFusion a go first as I am familliar with it. I'll let you know how it works out.
