    Starting AWS website

I have been thinking about what to do with a domain name I have (it has to do with a subject I really enjoy). Whether to create a content site, ecommerce site, etc.

What I'd like to do is create an AWS website for it. It will have to do with a specific category in "sports" (such as baseball).

I am familiar with the internet, having owned my own humor website back when they were pretty profitable, and selling it off to another company. Now I am a co-owner selling a CMS script. I just didn't want to come off as being new to the game, although I am when it comes to AWS websites.

Ok, so my question is, how hard is it to turn a profit? I do not have any websites to help boost the PR, so that will not be possible.

If I were to advertise the specific products on Google AdWords, do you think that would help much?

I am looking to generate at least $500/month from this website, which I believe is very attainable, but also may take a few months to get there.

    Thanks in advance.

    - You will need to get PR from somewhere. If you know about the subject, then add content people will want to link to.

    - $500 is obtainable, though you'll need a fair bit of traffic.

    - AdWords sometimes works with AWS, though more often than not, I seem to hear reports of it failing.

    - Build the content first, then add the AWS side of things when the site is established.

I would say 5. More would be better but 5 is good enough I think. Meaning the capability to give the site a 5 by your own means when it is launched.

    Ok, and what about content?

Being as it will be a sports related website, I cannot create more than a 5-10 pages of content without having time dependent content such as news. I'd want it to be more self-running.

So would just rules, field/court specifications, help on buying accessories, etc. work to get the job done? It probably wouldn't be more than 10 pages of content.

You might want to buy text links on related high PR websites...

Which will then be wasted money when their PR drops...
