Not accusing them of anything and it certainly is not advertising. We are stating facts and have for years because hosts should not be able to run below the red line.Originally Posted by thebillionaire

Its simply just user use divided by server cost. If the balance sheet is in the red than it is in the red. If a company can support this then they are loosing money and that is not good. You should want your host to be making money and healthy. We've had too many users coming from hosts that have folded overnight. We can't all walk around supporting that kind of thing because it would not be tolerated in any other industry.
Service can be fine yes, but when the money runs out then what happens?
It is like GM offering you pricing below costs of the cars they are selling. They can do that for years but eventually they will fold. With hosts shrink that by a factor of 100,000 and that is where you are in economies of scale.
Take care all. Support hosts (ANY HOST) that support themselves, the industry is better for it.
