    CPC Marketing

    Hi There

Firstly thank you to all the current members who have added some sound advice to these forums.

Hopefully, you can help me too

I have an e-commerce site at http://www.systematic-online.co.uk and have submitted it to as many seasrch engines as poss.

however, I see a lot of them use Inktomi and looksmart and a lot of the shopping portals use e-spotting.

I am unsure if this is a good marketing ploy as my suspicious nature questions the fact that some dodgy competitors may just click on your link and use up your credit.

Does anyone know if this happens or am I just paranoid

    thanks in advance

    T

This happens all the time .
Your competitors want to see your offers, your site design, your ranking, etc.

Overture has a very good fraud protection system.

I once had 3 consecutive days of my daily budget at Google being spent in under an hour, all the clicks coming from a single ad among the over a dozen I use. I e-mailed Google and they eventually credited me for all those clicks.

Maybe it was a very good ad? I wonder because if it had been fraud, how could have that person be seeing the very same ad and none other? Or maybe a mistake on their part?
