I have tried to submit to DMOZ and have waited and waited and waited. Any tips on getting listed?

Also, is there a way to register to the Yahoo directories without having to pay?

If your site is non commerical, you can get a Yahoo listing quite easily I think.

Well not easily, but possibly.

You can try emailing the DMOZ editor but that won't always help.... the only way to for sure get listed faster is to know the editor personally (or be the editor).

There are nice editors who listed me quickly ... so even found my other site themselves without me submitting ...

But there are also some very lousy ones who just refuse to add sites to the directory and just hog the editor status without updating the page much!
