I had an idea (not entirely my own) for a new revenue sharing model.
On any article you write have your own Adsense ID dynamically inserted into the adcode 50% of the time.
I would still require a monthly commitment to do the program though.
What do you think?

Monthly commitment is what put me off though. How many people do you have that write an article every month? If I new I could earn revenue without having to commit to an article/month, I would probably write some more.
Putting our own ad code in though is a good plan - let Google do all the sharing revenue, would save you some time I would think.

Chris - Can I write an article about webmasters with mesotheliomia?
Like r2d2, I like the idea. But I'm not sure anyone would really want to be committed to 1 article a month for 50%. I think maybe a staggered revenue sharing scheme with adsense would work well. For example...
1 Article a month = 3/4 of the article's revenue.
1 Article every 2 months = 2/4 of the article's revenue.
1 Article every 3 months = 1/4 of the article's revenue.
I'm not seeing the link between commiting to writing articles and how much (if any) you get. An article will bring visitors and earn money, I cant see why you should need to commit to earn any money.
Yeah chromate, that would be a lot better...

I'm with r2d2 on this particular issue.
I want commitments to ensure a steady stream of new content. I don't want (and often reject) articles that are just reprints of something published in a dozen other places.
The one article a month thing could be flexible. Such as if you wrote a really long article you wouldn't need to write one monthly. But in general I would want regular contributors rather than random sporadic submissions. Plus one or two pages a month is not a whole lot.
What sort of articles are you looking for Chris?

I can see the preference for regular writers, how about 50% for regulars, 25% for others?
I'm up for it, if you'll have me! Community stuff, vbulletin howtos (styling etc)... And suchlike
