Well my age doesn't really affect me, as I make enough money from one of my sites (that I don't want to name).

Oh and those forums, I just got rid of everything - it was too big a project.

The only thing about being under 18 is that you'll need a credit card to buy a domain, so you're parents have to be willing to let you use it . Or else, you can find a registrar that accepts checks/MO.

Doesn't .tk put your site in a frame and display a popup banner? I find that really annoying .. a TLD is definitely one of the best investments you can make for a site, and it's cheap too!

IMO, I think .tk is more for the 'newbie'-user. If you're serious about your site, even just a personal site, you should get a .com/.net/.org...etc.

I was 13 when I got my first domain. No problems. Didn't even have to use a CC or anything.

Now I'm 15, and I own a reseller account at eNom (currently not yet in use) and a namecheap account. I'm buying and selling domains all the time. And, without a CC

But I'm just interested in how you pay for your domains?

I got it for free (no fees to setup). It's a $8.95 reseller account. It was completely free, however, to actually register domains, the account has to have a minimum $100 balance.

If you want a reseller account, go to NamePros and contact a member named biggie and he will set it up for you.

    With money

I've got a PayPal account, registered under my parents name (they also use it, for eBay). eNom also accepts wire transfers and checks, fwiw.

Easily accepts debit cards that in the UK you can get from 11.

I also registered my first domain when I was 10.

Please could you remove that from your post, or can you Chris?

I don't want it advertised like this, there was no reason to post it.
