    My New PC -- Pictures!

Went from PC, to Mac, back to PC (this one). I spent more money than I should have on this, but, I don't really care.

I went hi-end on every component of this, I wanted Photoshop to load in less than a second (which it does, including every other program -- including games).

    Specs:

    Monitor
    VIEWSONIC 17.0" VE700 1280X1024 TFT LCD (METALLIC SILVER/BLACK)

    Motherboard, CPU & Ram bundle
    Abit KV8-MAX3 motherboard
    AMD Athlon 64 3000+ CPU
    Kingston 1Gb DDR400 (512Mb x2) Ram

    Video Card
    MSI FX5700-VTD 256MB DDR 8XAGP W.VIDO

    Sound Card
Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum PRO Gamer PCI

    DVD-RW
Plextor 4x2.4x12x/DVD+RW 16x10x40x/CD-RW EIDE Internal; audio cable and 18” ATA Round Cable

    Hard Drive
Hitachi 160GB 13G0254 Serial ATA 8MB 7200PRM; 0.5m SATA Data Cable and SATA Power Cord

    Keyboard & Mouse
Logitech Cordless MX DUO Keyboard PS2/USB W/MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse (with cradle)

Also got 5 red fans, blue sound activated cathodes, 480-watt Antec power supply, and a nice Logitech surround sound system.

    Good work!

    I have a P4 1.8A which I sometimes overclock to 2.4GHz. 512Mb Samsung DDR Ram using dual-channel. Creative FX5200.

Photoshop takes a few seconds to load...

All completely silent though Most of my fans (all Panaflo L1A and Papst) run at 5 or 7v.

    Very nice

Thinking of getting a new computer soon just to play games on. Think I'll get one of those glowing boxes after seeing that
Don't you just love free internet games ?
