Adding A Forum?

I have a new website, and wondered how I can add a forum to it. My site
is rough, and I am learning as I go along. Any help would be appreciated.

Forums are standard standalone applications you simply install. I recommend vbulletin.

vBulletin is a great script, but it is very expensive. vBulletin would be nice essentially, but phpBB would suffice.

I’m happy to link out to other people’s sites from time to time. I try not to do it in every post because I want the links to have some significance to my readers when I give them. But I’m happy to allow the trackbacks now, too.
