    DNS problems I think?

Have just got some 'special' hosting at hostony, and have added a few addon domains. I changed the DNS for these domains over 3 days ago now.

The domains are registered at GoDaddy, and showed godaddy's ad page before I changed the DNS. They now show some kind of directory: http://www.discount-plasma-tv.com/ . Some of the domains resolve correctly to my account though.

When I use dnsstuff to check the dns though, they all come up with hostony DNS servers - though I guess this would be looking at a different DNS server to me.

Anyway where has this directory come from? Who owns it? Anyone know? I guess someone on here must have changed a domain from parked at GoDaddy to hostony?

    Should I just be waiting?

I'm not getting the directory at all. It's not resolving for me. Probably just a chaching thing though with your ISP.

Go Daddy did this to me, they set up 3 domains, then left 2 I bought at the same time without the nameservers in... I just logged in, put the nameservers in and my under construction pages were online.

Yep thats the one Its still in development

I get the same results from work though for the others

I'm gonna have to check when I get home, but I think that when I removed the domain from my addon domains, www.discount-plasma-tv.com came up with a cPanel page saying this domain doesnt exist type thing. So it is going to my server. But the server is returning the wrong thing!

    Argghh!

I need to move the hosting of casino site to hostony v. soon. Luckily its not registered with GoDaddy...

Best chance to get something fixed on hostony is to ICQ them or do a trouble ticket. Believe me email does not get your problem fixed.

As I thought, it was something wrong at their end.

Two of the domains are fixed now - the DNS provides the correct IP address, but I'm still seeing that damn directory on one of them. The other one was showing it too for a while, but now gone, so hopefully the other will resolve properly soon.

A HTML checker returns the code as I expect it though lol, just my browser getting the wrong return.

One of the domains is still showing the wrong IP address: http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/lookup...ats.com&type=A . Its showing the correct nameservers, but they are returning the wrong IP address!
