    Domain name and Search engines?

    Do search engines view letters and numbers in a domain name as the same thing or different? Would it affect my pr, serps, etc if I included a number in new domain Im thinking of registering? for example.....example8.com

    No, not really.

    From a pure SEO standpoint Widgets9.com will be almost as good as widgets.com only a very slight difference.

    agree with chris. page rank, SERP and other is not connected with name that you have, SEO is pure about what you set on your site and what you link to other

    Using some keyword rich domain names can be cool and really great but even if your domain name contains none of the terms targeted but is powered by a lot of quality links, some top rankings could be expected.
