    Calc Uploads

    Hi!

Making a website for a carpet cleaning company I just was employed at. I made an estimator program using OOo Calc that will allow potential customers to plug in their information, like number of rooms/square footage, furniture, discount codes, etc...and they can generate their own quote. How do I upload this program to the website so they can use it? I don't know much more about website creation than some HTML, enough to make a decent looking site, but not enough to do this.

    Any help appreciated.

    Bill

Web servers run programs or scripts only in a few select languages, you need to either just provide the program as a download or something, or rewrite it in a web development language such as ASP or PHP.

If you are not too clued up on scripting then the only solution for you is to provide the tool as a free download. Perhaps it might be worth developing the quote on a website platform instead?
