    wrong url indexed on google

    Help!

My website www.sexygirlphotography.com is not showing up in a google search for sexy girl photography, however the url www.sexygirlphotography.com/index2.php is. The problem with this is that this url go directly into my flash website and misses my splash page which has all of my keywords. Also to add to my frusteration my website was doing great on the google search, both pages are cached. Please help me!!!!

    Thank you
    Lindsey

Your first problem is you're using a splash page with all your keywords. Google doesn't like that, I don't recommend that, and really that kind of thing hasn't been recommended by anyone that I've seen in probably atleast 6 years.

In fact I can safely say your splash page is spam and you're lucky Google hasn't banned you entirely.

Count your blessings and delete it.

Then read the SEO guide on this site and use the tips found within to help your site rank well, none of which will include making fake landing pages or keyword stuffing in a footer.

    Some other needed improvements:

1- that music will make 50% of you visitors turn off your web site the moment they hear the first beat of music

2 - the majority of visitors find it annoying when pages open in new tabs or windows as they navigate a site

3 - the site is really too slow

    Chris,

Are any kind of splash pages considered spam, by Google, or just the type of splash pages that are filled with keywords?

    Wrong url

So if this is the case has my website been banned from google. And if I do take my splash page down how is google going to read my keywords on a flash website?
    Thank you

Your site has not been banned by Google (if you don't believe me, click the link).

That being said, you should still eliminate the splash page as is. Also, given the nature of the site, I'd probably require anyone who wants to access the site to be 18 or older - this may mean that your home page may rank well, but your "adult oriented" pages would have to be blocked.

Given those considerations, I'd look into consulting with an information architecture specialist who also has experience with search engine optimization (or read up on Chris' SEO guide as he said and pick up a book or two on information architecture).
