I am trying so hard to understand this computer talk of optimizing and keywords, and SEO but the more I read the more confused I get. I would have never understood metatags but I stumbled on a site that will make them for you. This is indeed harder than I thought it would be. But I keep stumbling along.

I didn't get your point in anyway. Are you asking question or letting us know of your feelings about the SEO world? If you are totally confused about how websites are launched and then optimized online, perhaps you'd better buy some books and read because there are tons of information to learn and master.
Just take a look at Amazon or online bookshops and take a look at the SEO related books.
