I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the site has been very slow loading for me this afternoon. Discount Power Tools is also very slow loading.

My server is wigging out. I don't know why. It pisses me off. I think it has something to do with hsphere. I should never have bought that program. It crashed around Noon and after being rebooted it has been very very slow. Hsphere is running all kinds of processes and I do not know why.

should be fixed now -- that sucked. My most important sites are on this server, probably lost a couple hundred dollars in revenue

Now *there's* a problem I don't have! Maybe someday though.

I'm glad to see that everything's working again.

The long term effects of that crash might be several thousand $. Get a backup server.

So Chris did you replace hsphere with something else? And what is hsphere, a control panel?

It's times like this you get to see how supportive your host is -- how did ev1 shape up, Chris?

I bet the responsive was like this 'As you did not buy managed server services we are not able to stop your server from crashing. Hey did you know there is deals on HSPHERE packages in our software packages store?'

hsphere is a hosting control panel that integrates billing. Ev1servers did not sell it to me so they don't support it. I had to wait for the hsphere people to come fix it.

I did buy a third server though, my swords site and coupon site should start resolving to it soon.

Good luck with the servers from now on.

I'm looking for a new dedicated host myself, but am trying to cut my costs so looking for someone around the Ev1 ballpark (~$250-300 for a DualXeon).
