    My Experiment

I am going to try to earn money without spending anything! I'm going to use a free host, not get a domain unless it's free such as .tk or .co.nr. I am not going to use any software that did not come packaged with windows or is available free on download.com.

I am going to use affiliate programs and possible even make a content site. The money they make can go to buy professional hosting and domains for them. I'll update you on how it goes.

I would stay away from .tk domains(and i would assume .co.nr are similar) because of the poor reliablility and the problems it creates with search engines. Also realize that most free web hosts are unreliable.(the key word is most) Keep in mind that you may not be spending money, but you are spending your time. It is possible but by spending no money you are taking a serious gamble at the reliablity of your web site.

ps My only costs are purchasing domains.

I've changed my mind on something... All the free hosts are unreliable, so I'm giving myself hosting on incka.com and I give hosting there for free to other people anyway...

There ya go - since you're paying for incka's hosting anyway, sites hosted on it by yourself effectively get it free

It helps... although the links from my own sites help more, I think.

PR thing still confuses me - I just like collecting it LOL

Yeah, but only if my sites don't need it, because when I get a server I'm getting 1000gb a month, and my sites will use about 1/10 of that. If my sites require more I'll just boot the site off...

With a server from Rackshack you'll get to the point where you're out of ram/processing power before you run out of bandwidth.
