Google searchers, where are they really?

I have a question regarding the volume of traffic a keyword achieves in a specific country as displayed in the Google keyword tool.

Is the traffic volume for a keyword in a specific country, relative to the keyword being searched by all people in that country regardless of whether they are searching by www.google.com and www.google.com.contry etc? Or is the traffic from people searching by that keyword using www.google.com.country only?

In regards to all keywords tools, do not use them as measures of absolute volume, instead use them only as comparison volume.

    For instance:

if bluewidget gets 10 searches and redwidget gets 5 searches. Do not assume that 10 and 5 are the correct numbers. Rather, just realize that bluewidget is twice as popular as redwidget.

Use them for comparisons only. Get it?

It is true. Although the statistics provided by Google are better and more exact than some other services in the past like Overture data, but they still are not that absolute and exact and show general ideas of the popularity and search volume of the terms.
