Alexa and similar tools tend not to be very accurate. They work the same way that Nielsen and Jupiter work, but the users aren't representative of the general internet population.

I've always used phpBB. For a free product, it really is amazing. A cool thing about it is that cpanel has an phpBB auto install.

If its an "import tuner" site, you could make very good money, since that audience spends a lot on car parts. I know www.automotiveforums.com has a lot of sponsors.

rackshack is offering domain names for $5 now. And you could find a decent host for ~$20-30/year

nn.advertising.com has some nice newsletter ads. I've found though that their rates deterioate over time.

By 6000 "sessions" to you mean visits? That is only 200 visits per day, so I don't think you will be able to make much money.

I too use Fastclick. The rates are much higher, and they usually have a lot of campaigns going (thus low default rates)

Overture was bought by Yahoo recently.

Obviously, most of overture's partners are rivals to Yahoo (MSN the biggest.) That could lead to drastically reduced traffic.
