Very good work. What I think is best is that you cover the advance stuff. I've ready tons of articles on PR, but very few on the proper structure to best capture it.

Alexa and similar tools tend not to be very accurate. They work the same way that Nielsen and Jupiter work, but the users aren't representative of the general internet population.
An issue I see is that google doesn't tell what commission it takes. Just about every other ad program does it - there must be some reason why Google chooses not to.
If you are really determined to make money, some local sponsors could work. You could charge a higher price, and your website wouldn't be filled with pop ups and "YOU'VE WON" ads.
9 words (with hyphens) - yikes!
Unless your visitor bookmarks the page, it'll be hard to get return traffic because they URL is so difficult and such a hassle to type in.

Is there a hack available, or did you have to do it yourself?
You can add your site to www.zeal.com (which MSN currently uses)
All the ones in my sig :)
If you're still looking, I've heard good stuff about www.mycorporation.com
I find that forums are very helpful.
Here are some good ones:
www.geekvillage.com/forums/
www.sitepointforums.com
And of course websitepublisher.net :)
Also, it depends on what datacenter your google bar is using. They don't always match up.
It might be your .htaccess settings.
I voted no also - the market is simply too competitve. A lot of people are starting a web host because they think its going to be easy money. Of course, this isn't true. And all those new players are...
I've always used phpBB. For a free product, it really is amazing. A cool thing about it is that cpanel has an phpBB auto install.
If its an "import tuner" site, you could make very good money, since that audience spends a lot on car parts. I know www.automotiveforums.com has a lot of sponsors.
I've heard rumors of overture developing a similar program to adsense.
Anyone have any information on it?
rackshack is offering domain names for $5 now. And you could find a decent host for ~$20-30/year
nn.advertising.com has some nice newsletter ads. I've found though that their rates deterioate over time.
Making your website "viral" does work though.
I've found "tell a friend" programs to work well on my site. Not only do they give good, targeted traffic, but they also make your website more sticky...
Why not just create subdomains to a domain name?

By 6000 "sessions" to you mean visits? That is only 200 visits per day, so I don't think you will be able to make much money.
I too use Fastclick. The rates are much higher, and they usually have a lot of campaigns going (thus low default rates)
Payments are always on time, and though offer a wide variety of ad formats...
Overture was bought by Yahoo recently.
Obviously, most of overture's partners are rivals to Yahoo (MSN the biggest.) That could lead to drastically reduced traffic.
also try Google's AdSense.
Fastclick I think is the best ad network. It has the best rates and lowest default rates.
