Hi,
If I am to try and target some keywords in my content, how do I know which are the most popular ones to put in?
Is the overture tool reliable or is there a better tool I can use?

I recommend the wordtracker.com tool, you get enough info with just the free trial though IMO.
I was just coming to ask what peoples thoughts are on Wordtracker :)
I have read elsewhere that the datasource they use is too small to be of any use... although I have had pretty good success (IMO) using the results from the paid version on sites from clients.
I tend to use a misture of Overture (although I have read that there results are inflated) and Wordtracker... How else can you research keywords?
I'm all for Wordtracker, I've been using it and find quite helpful. Tried Overture as well, but tend to use Wordtracker.
i use aaron walls tool
I think if you have an adword account, there is also a tool like this.
I've been using wordtracker for quite a while. The paid subscription is useful because it shows up to 500 related keywords for the initial keyword you enter.
Like Chris says, I also recommend purchasing WordTracker. The how-to-use guide you receive upon subscribing is worth the price IMO.
Although if you are looking specifically for a free tool, check out SEO Book Keyword suggestion Tool.
It has often been observed that Google considers keyword density a large factor in ranking pages in search engine results, more so than many other search engines. You can read more about keyword density and how you can improve it on your pages from my other article, Improving Your Keyword Density for Search Engine Positioning, at http://www.thesitewizard.com/archive...ddensity.shtml
you can use word tracker :)
Thanks for the link, CDavid, not bad for a free seotool.
