Hi all,
I would like to build an e-commerce website but don't know which script to use. Ok, you'll said that there is a list here. I read it and I would like to use osCommece or this one: http://obiewebsite.sourceforge.net/o...?Mini_Web_Shop
Mini webshop seems to be easy to use but it uses a shopping cart based on cookies
What do you think about a shopping cart based on cookies?
Any other advice will be appreciated!

IP's would be good. Use both IPs and cookies to make sure. AOL users can't use IPs, but some users can't use cookies. You best hope you don't have an AOL user who has blocked cookies.
A PHP Session would also work, it doesn't set anything on your computer (unlike cookies), and it isn't based on IP.

Magento Shopping Cart is good, and it's suitable for beginners. It worths to try. It depends on the conditions of you.
If you ask me, I consider magento commerce and OS Commerce shopping carts to be the best for running ecommerce sites fast and efficiently.

There are many of them: Zen Cart, Cube Cart, Miva Order and magento - I suppose that they are the best.
