What am I doing wrong?
My redneck jokes page is ranked #63 in google:
www.humorcube.com/html/Jokes-Redneck-Jokes.html
-------------------------
Here is guy #2
www.ahajokes.com/redneck_jokes.html
-------------------------
Since both are subpages, there aren't any external links to them. Neither are listed in any directory site. The only links are internal. I have significantly more links. But he's ranked WAY higher than me, why is that? What am I doing wrong?
-
Regarding the "Jokes-Redneck-Jokes" instead of "Redneck-Jokes" - that's an issue with the script. But he's also ranked higher than me for "Jokes Redneck Jokes"!
-
For starters, he has more PR on that sub page than you do...
-
Yep, www.ahajokes.com/redneck_jokes.html has a Pagerank of 5 while yours has a 4.
www.ahajokes.com has 7100 pages in Google. Yours has 300.
You have 63 pages linking to your main site, while the other site has 2,770.
-
You think that is it though? Just the PR?
-
It's not all PR now, so it may not be.
-
snoopers, you're using some sort of templating system, right?
The links back to the redneck jokes page are not effective.
They're linking to:
http://www.humorcube.com/templates/v...atid=12&gid=15
when you should have them linking back to: http://www.humorcube.com/html/Jokes-Redneck-Jokes.html
Google will see those as two seperate pages.
