You're really too late to get involved with mesothelioma, unless you spam.

I know I'm stating the obvious, but you have to be one of the first sites on a high-paying topic. Of course, sites can be successful regardless of when you start them, but the Mesothelioma sites are just duplicate content. Unless you have a massive understanding of a topic and create fresh content (like I did with Wireless Phone Reviews, which is why it was successful early in the game), you're most likely going to rely on free content -- like 5,000 other sites.

What if you can write your own content, feed PR from your PR 7 sites, get a single word domain like 'mesothelioma.to' and are called Chris Beasley?

There are more topics out there that pay $15+ a click with remotely ZERO competitors (meaning no other optimized sites that want to make a profit).

You just have to research :)

But just HOW do you research? It would take ages to first look at prices, then searches, then how competitive the subject is etc etc.

If only there was a tool or something to do all this for you:)

It does take ages. Get to it.

I'm actually not planning a mesothelioma site. I would like one I'm sure but its not something I want to get into at the moment.

Yes, and AWS sites, and a couple review sites. I have short term cash flow right now, what I want is long term reliability.

Err, are there? :) I'm not saying you're not right, but I've done a fair bit of research looking for profitable niches. I would say that the CPC is roughly proportional to the amount of competition there is to actually get the clicks.

Though I do accept that it is possible to occasionally find holes where people have missed an opportunity. Few and far between though - and even they get filled pretty quickly once a few people get on the scent.

I'm working on one... so count me in.

I found one but it turned out Shawn Weeks is doing that one already, and I haven't got much interest in it...

You didn't offend. I've had that site for a while now, even though it doesn't work.

By the end of today I should be able to share my new site anyway.
