I wanted to know if sites that purely put on Amazon stores do they earn any revenue and is the revenue sustainable? I am planning to buy some sites so I am enquiring. The site which I am planning to buy uses http://www.associate-o-matic.com/

I know they used to make money but I am not so sure anymore - I only hear that it is not as good as it used to be but hopefully someone with more experience in that area will come along and help you.
Money can be made with it, but you'll need tons of targeted traffic.
They make money if you can get traffic to them, and unlike a few years ago, that doesn't happen automatically. There are millions and millions of auto-generated "Amazon stores" out there now, and the search engines are quite experienced filtering them from the search results. However, if you have a way to get people to your store that doesn't involve natural search traffic, you can certainly refer some sales.
