Can search engine bots by crawling a site submit forms? For example, if a site has a Sort options (as a form and not as link), could the search engines index the pages with the different sorts?

Bots can't submit forms
Do you want them to get to those pages or not?
If you want them too you coul djust make links to those pages.

actually I need them as form, otherwise the bots could treat them as duplicate content
