Targeted Traffic Sites

I wonder what are your experiences with sites that send you targeted traffic...and which one - preferably free one - would you recommend?? :)

I've tried a few of them - like 10-million-hits, my free ads secret, free ad guru, trafficswarm, etc. but I'm not very satisfied with them so far. But I keep testing...testing...and testing :rolleyes:

So what's your favourite that DOES work?

I don't think that you can get targeted traffic for free.

My favourite is link exchanging with relevant sites (or even getting them to link to me as a feature on their site). Note: haven't done this in a while, and it was before everyone was so focussed on page rank (the infatuation with - in regards to swapping links with some, but not others - I'll never understand).
