Does anyone know how I can modify AWStats, or get something to change it, so that it will display daily uniques?
Thank you.

Bump - I'd also like to know this. :) Shows monthly uniques, but not the dailys..
It should display daily uniques automatically.
Just scroll down the page a little bit.
Cheers...

Yeah, it shows it about the middle of the first page...
Doesn't on mine - monthly uniques, and daily *visits* (which aren't the same thing).
Same as Mark, for me.
(assuming you use it and have daily uniques) What version do you guys use?
I use 6.1 (build 1.751) and I see my daily uniques.

Shows No uniques... there must be a way to add them in config?
Well I had a quick look through the config - couldn't see an option for it? :S
Can you show a screengrab of your daily uniques?
Sorry guys. I have misinformed you. It looks like I don't have the daily uniques on my AWS either. I should have paid a closer attention.
I think you guys are confused regarding the terminology used.
That is, when someone visits your site, there visit is only counted once (that's where the uniques come in). But, if someone visits your site two days in a row, then it still counts as a daily unique, but it doesnt count as a monthly unique. That is why your "number of daily visits" is you unique visitor count for that day, but it is different to the monthly uniques count.
I hope that made sense :)
Cheers...

Yes, I understand that, but there has to be a way to know what days completely new visitors are going to your website.
I understand what you are asking for and it is easily done. You want just that day’s stats and only that day’s stats.
Simply create two config files which one of them having ex%YY%MM%DD-24.log and the other having ex%YY%MM%DD.log.
Also have each one write to a different directory; one will be for monthly stats, the other for daily.
Set a batch file to update every hour (3 hours, 6 hours, etc.)
At midnight, delete the awstats daily directory.
This way you have both the monthly and daily stats.
BTW - Cool Forum!
