nofollow is a value that can be assigned to the rel attribute of an HTML an element to instruct some search engines that the hyperlink should not influence the ranking of the link's target in the search engine's index.
A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page's favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn't help a page's placement in the SERPs. Nofollow links get no love. Theirs is a sad and lonely life.
No-follow link is a link which does not gets indexed by search engines. Therefore it has not much importance in SEO. It only helps in generating traffic to your website.
