embed small slideshwo on site header
Hi folks,
This is my first thread so hopefully it's in the right forum:)
I'm new to web design and I'm using wordpress to buile my first site. I'd like to have a small slideshow on the header of the site but am finding this quite difficult.
I'm wondering if anyone knows the best way to do this. I only have 5 photos that i'd like to change every couple of seconds. First of all I know there's many programs out there that can do this, whereby you'd upload the files to your FTP server and embed code somewhere on the page. I've tried this with a program and I don't know where to put the code so that the slide show shows in the header. This is not working anyway.
I'd just like to have a small (4x4 inches) slideshow on the right side of the header.
If anyone could help me with this - what programs are good, how to place the code etc - I'd be most grateful
