I have a domain name registered through moniker.com and I'm trying to set up hosting with GoDaddy. I've tried their online help, but it wasn't that much help. According to them, I need to "manually update [my] A record with [my] hosting account's IP address." I have no idea what their talking about. Please help.

Try contacting their support team.

But GoDaddy is only good for domain names.

Dude, it means DNS. Your Domain Nameservers. You can go to Manage Domains, click on your domain, and change the Nameservers to an appropriate address which your web hosting (in this case, Go Daddy) gives you.
