adsense link units?

Are adsense link units worth running? Do they work out better or worse then the other ads?

i find they do ok, better then adsense banner ads depending on how you use them.

just added some, i like the wording on the ads, seem more attractive to click on and take up such small space.

They work great for me. They usually have a higher CTR than my normal ad, pay ok, and like you said take very little space.

I recently removed a little ad box and replaced it with a link unit...im getting 3 times more $ on that unit now. It's probably not the same for all sites of course.

its easy enough to test what nico is saying but replacing a banner ad with a link ad unit and watch and see what happens. Key is how you are placing it and where.
