Hello all,

I am trying to find a way to add delicious, stumbleupon, digg buttons to my website but somewhat I am not able to find a way.

I have tried to search google, check out delicious website etc. but I'm lost.

Does anyone know how to add a button to my website for these?

Thanks in advance.

Here's how to do it for Digg: http://digg.com/tools/integrate

Stumbleupon: http://www.stumbleupon.com/buttons.php?pgtype=profile

del.icio.us: http://del.icio.us/help/savebuttons

Good luck!

Wow... Thanks for Super-fast reply :)

So, I wonder, is it possible to use http://images.del.icio.us/static/img/delicious.42px.gif image (by locally hosting the image) to attract attention?

Do you have any idea about copyright issues regarding this?

Thanks.

They put the image for you to use, so yes, you can use it.

Also, see http://www.addthis.com

Thank you.

I have seen it but never checked it out. Now I had a quick look and wondered, will I be able to use the addthis button for more than one site?

I just copy one code to any page I publish and it handles the rest?

one key issue. I wouldnt ever put somebody elses javascript on your site.

<script src='http://home.planet.nl/~hansoosting/downloads/beautifulbeta.js' type='text/javascript'/>

I would dowload that javascript, put it on your own site and make sure there is no funny business. Not to say there is but why make it easy for somebody to mainpulate your site.

That's a great point to keep in mind, thank you for pointing it out :)

Still, I "choose" to trust in such applications and help them grow, which would help me grow in return (I hope!).

You know, those social networking buttons can become pretty cluttered after a while. Share This (http://sharethis.com/) [link: sharethis.com] made a huge splash, then went "quiet" for a while, but now they're back. Why don't you give them a try?

(Note: I don't have anything to do with Share This whatsoever. Nothing, nada, zero, zip, zilch.)

Sorry I forgot. Just download the javascripts...
