Subscription access newsletter site

Hi. Thanks for reading my message. I am building a site that I hope to have subscribers pay for access to "premier" content while there will also be a lot of free access content. It will be targeted at the technical communities involved with the environmental impacts of buildings and buildings' impacts on their occupants. I will translate the latest scientific thinking and report on new trends and ideas. I will also give advice on how to solve common problems. I have experience with print media newsletter editing and publishing but no experience at all with web-based publishing with subscription as a basis for revenue. I would like to know if anyone has any relevant experience. Most of what I have found so far in the way of newsletter advice on the web is about corporate newsletters that are basically marketing mechanisms or for internal news distribution.

If you have some relevant experience, please let me know. I am willing to pay for some good advice. My site is Plone-based and is nearly ready to go, but I would like to get some advice from an experienced pro.
