Hi all,

OK the question is relating to the URL of internal links, not to the anchor text.

Do you think it is better to have URLs that use the full URL, e.g. http://www.example.com/keyword.html, or just URLs relevant to the document e.g. /keyword.html.

If you have a domain rich with keywords, wouldn't in make sense to use the full url as much as possible?

I notice on this site they use Full URLs, however on nearly every other site they don't. What do you think. If I went down this track would I do it for the images too?

p.s. What is the easiest way to do this?

absolute URLs are better than relative ones.

Less chance of something messing up. Even if the chance of messing up is slim, like 1 in a million, if you're that 1, it sucks.

Plus, there is a side benefit, if someone rips your site and forgets to change all the links, you'll find out about it through monitoring your log files. This happens more often than you may think.

Just complete the url name rather than putting just the 2nd one. In order for easy for SEs to crawl the site...
