A few days ago one of my sites was listed in www.coolsiteoftheday.com .
I just thought it would be interesting to let you guys know what kind of traffic it brought me...
My site was listed as the "Cool Site of the Day" site for, of course, 1 day only. That day, i got around 820 unique visitors from their site.
The next few days, i started to get a few visits from people that saw my site listed there, and linked to it from their own pages.
This is the traffic i got per day...
Day / Traffic
1: 820 direct visits
2: 400 visits + 50 visits from other links
3: 130 visits + 250 ext. visits
4: 102 visits + 90 ext. visits
5: 63 visits + 30 ext. visits
6: 40 visits...
...and im still getting visitors.
So, basically being listed in their site send me around 2000 unique visitors up to this day (and still counting). Plus, a bunch of new incoming links. It was pretty good!
