<b> or <em> tags?

Should one go for the <b> tag or <em>?
Does it make any real difference if my keywords are highlighted one way or the other?

it's about semantics. do you want the word to be bold or strongly emphasized? <b> and <strong> have different semantic meanings, same as <i> and <em>. as far as search engines, i doubt it makes that much of a difference.

Thanks, I was just wondering. SEO guides often suggest the use of <i> and <b> tags for your keywords, but rarely mention the <em> tag.
