Is there an affordable/non-technical way to get tracking codes for URLs? I would want to use them for two purposes:
1) adding them to URLs in newsletters to see what kind of click-throughs I'd get for certain keywords in the newsletter
2) generating tracking codes to put on banners for a street team. Users who register for the street team would win points when they paste their banner codes on MySpace, forums, etc., and I'd be able to monitor if they actually posted the banner or not.
I would appreciate suggestions. There are street team service providers, but they would cost a minimum of $75 a month, which I consider pricey. Thanks for reading! :)
