Building a Deals / Coupon Website? which cms?

Is a custom solution best? it seems as if wordpress would be great for this project

Whats the best way to have user submit deals? basic email form? im looking for something a little more automated.

Expression Engine can do what you want, but it would take a little customizing to make it work. I shouldn't be overly difficult but you won't able to just install the software and boom you've got the site instantly.

I think having users submit the coupons would be nice. It's always nice to have everything automated, but there again, when everything is automated there is more spam, but that's with anything I guess.

Honestly, this is not a field I'd recommend getting into anymore. It was nice while it lasted but isn't so nice anymore.
