Tool bar traffic

Hello,

i was looking at those tool bar companies that have over 10 million members and members search for keywords and your site shows up when they search. They guarantee 12,000 uniques a month and its targeted traffic.

anyones thoughts on this?

I would guess that most the traffic would be junk but if its really cheap it might be worth trying it on a small scale for a test.

What companies?

Google sells great traffic. A big chunk of their traffic is "toolbar" traffic because of the millions of people running their toolbar in their web browsers.

it was myspace guardian and some other one. Only reason i didnt think it was trash traffic is because people actually search for the term you buy. Its very expensive though like 9 K per year.

yea your right but it would be for an ecom site, but i doubt im even gonna do it that way anymore.

I've tried many similar, no 'real' results...I'd NOT go for it anymore...
