I just decided to log in to an old affiliate account from a company I hadn't promoted in years and when I did made nothing, just to see what they had to offer now...

Because I hadn't made anything I hadn't inserted payment details...

My account balance: £2,201.76 (equiv of about $4,400)

The money has come from about 3 flash games promoting a casino that are hidden in the depths of my games site and hardly ever played. On a 30% revshare option, there must be some serious gamblers among my visitors...

So the lesson is: check affiliate accounts that you haven't used in years, there might just be a surprise in store...

I get random checks from offers/sites I haven't promoted in a long time... most are "store" type sites like amazon, allposters, etc it's a nice surprise to get a check you are not expecting :)

I got a random cheque the other week, can't say it was nearly as much as that though :)

I think it is lifetime gambling commissions that I got the money from.
