For first quarter ever I didn't make enough to be paid by amazon last quarter. Why? My AWS sites are not longer making much at all.
Is this the same for all of you? I notice Chris no longer lists his in his signiture...

I dumped all mine actually. The only way I use AWS now is through my wedding registry site and its all backend stuff.
From making hundreds a month from them, earnings suddenly dropped. Like a lot of things, it was a bit of a fad. To be honest the less AWS sites the better, unless they are done properly they clutter up the internet with duplicate content.

AWS in general is fine and lots of people are making money using their web services.
What is dead now is using AWS to auto-generate thin affiliate sites with all content from amazon reviews etc, and hoping to get generic search traffic. That used to work well, but no longer does.

High on my ever expanding do list is to either flog off mine or turn them into content sites.

I think I'm going to turn a few of mine into content sites, they've got good designs and in a good market without too much competition.
